

These treats have a delicious, dense and fudgy texture.
You'll need:
- 225g caster sugar
- 4 large free-range eggs
- 225g light buttery spread, melted
- 150g plain flour, sifted
- 120g Milkybar® Buttons, chopped
- 80g Carnation® Caramel
Each blondie contains:
of an adult’s Reference Intake (RI)*
Energy per 100g: 1334kJ/318kcal
*Reference Intake of an average adult (8400kJ/2000kcal).
Portions should be adjusted for children of different ages.
Recipe
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas mark 4.
- Grease and line a 20cm x 10cm rectangular baking tray.
- Beat together the sugar and eggs until pale and fluffy.
- Beat in the melted light buttery spread a little at a time, making sure each addition of buttery spread is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- Add the Carnation® Caramel and mix well.
- Add the flour and carefully fold it into the mixture.
- Add the chopped Milkybar® Buttons and carefully fold them into the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking tray and level out.
- Place the tray into the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the blondie comes out clean. Set aside to cool.
Tips to involve little Farmers
Greasing the tray can be a great way to get kids to help. Small fingers can get into little corners and you don’t have to worry about anything being too hot.
