Delight the whole family with this easy and delicious SMARTIES® Marshmallow Penguins recipe

These marshmallow penguins are almost too cute to eat and they're so simple to make. If you want to add a pop of colour to your homemade desserts, this is the SMARTIES® recipe for you.

You'll Need:

  • 1 tube of SMARTIES® (38g)
  • 15 marshmallows
  • 100g milk chocolate (for melting)
  • 30 edible eyes
  • 2 strawberry laces (cut into even pieces)
  • Bamboo skewers
  • Parchment paper

SMARTIES® Marshmallow Penguins recipe in Easy Steps

  1. Prep a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate carefully in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds.
  3. Place 1 marshmallow on the end of a skewer and gently roll the back two thirds in melted chocolate. Make sure you leave the front third uncovered to make the white tummy of the penguin.
  4. Use melted chocolate to stick edible eyes on the uncovered area of the marshmallow. Then place on baking tray to dry.
  5. Remove the skewer and add 1/2 a SMARTIES® for the nose.
  6. To create earmuffs, use melted chocolate and add strawberry lace and 2 SMARTIES® to either side of the penguin.
  7. Repeat steps 3-6 to complete all 15 SMARTIES® marshmallow penguins.
