Ingredients

  • AERO® Milk Chocolate Sharing Bar 90g x2
  • 50g Dark Chocolate
  • 115g Buttery Baking Spread
  • 100g Plain White Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder - 2g
  • 200g Caster Sugar
  • 2x Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract - 5g
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Walnuts (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Lightly grease an 8 x 8 inch pan.
  2. Melt unsweetened chocolate with butter on medium-low heat and put to the side to cool. Meanwhile sift flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat sugar and eggs until light. Beat in chocolate mixture and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until combined.
  4. Spread half of batter in a prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes. Remove Aero® bars from wrappers and place on top of baked brownie, top with remaining batter and walnuts if desired.
  5. Bake for approximately 25 more minutes or until you can put a toothpick in the top half of the brownie and it comes out clean.
  6. Cool for at least 15 min and cut into pieces.
